Love this place for what it is- a very tiny natural food store with a surprising selection of items- many of which are gluten free, dairy free and organic. Prices are what you would expect for a small natural food store, but they always run sales and have big discounts on a rotating assortment of items. The staff is always super cool and they have the best tasting water in town.

European style below $10 Kelp for iodine deficiency and thyroid support against a $15 at urban outfitters supplement or $27 jar from Phoenix herbs on Main Street KC. Tahini has more flavor than the 365 Organic Whole Foods. Makes dressing and becomes a thickening agent in sauces and chia "Jute."

This is the place I've been that has the MOST attentive and kind staff. I came in with my puppy. They gave him water and treats. I dropped a box and they rearranged everything and opened doors for me. I was impressed to say the least. Recently before the above trip I mentioned, I went on a Sunday and they helped me find just what I needed. I'm a regular at this point but anytime I have my dog they're accommodating and their cashiers and owners are great. Love love love!! Make sure to thank them when you go.

Great small feeling grocery that's bigger than it looks. Wine price was spot on. Glad they're there for folks.

Grocery stores are a little bit hard to come by downtown without having to travel a bit so it's great to have Nature's Own right down the street in the River Market neighborhood. This isn't necessarily a place that I would do all my grocery shopping at just because it can be a little pricey but, they do have a lot of speciality vegan items, including vegan artisanal cheese! I normally find myself going there for these unique items that I can't find at other places or for a quick stop to pick up things like alternative milk/creamer when I run out. They also have packaged meals that are convenient for a quick lunch and it's one place that you can still purchase Füd sandwiches. Not only do they offer food selections, but they include household cleaning supplies, vitamins, makeup, skincare, bodycare, and protein powders. I have found some good prices on vitamin B12 here in comparison to somewhere like Sprouts, but I'm not sure how other items compare in terms of price. Good news is that they actually have a pretty decent sized parking lot here so no need to worry about searching for a parking spot.

Plenty of healthy food options here. While the place is not big, it has the essential foods you find in an organic place. Prices are reasonable. The veggie section is not that large. They do also have some organic wines.

This feel's like a grocery store from another city. It's urban, organic, and I feel like I'm bouncing in somewhere off the streets of San Francisco. Half of this is predominately health stuff like lip balms, homeopathic treatments and whatnot. The other half is a small grocery store equipped with basics but not enough for me to knock out my normal grocery list. I'm a big fan of the kombucha they have on tap locally made in Lawrence, and the price is right (finally!) Instead of paying out the nose for a small cup, you can get 32 oz. filled for $6-7. If you don't have a bottle with you, it's plus $3 but you can return it for the deposit. The flavors look to rotate but the Gingerade is really tasty. Only problem is filling a giant jar with a fizzy drink takes some time because it foams up so frequently... first world problems. Friendly folks in this lil nature shack, glad it's here.

A neighborhood natural/organic grocer that has surprisingly good merchandising. Very happy to find askinosie chocolate, lots of organic seasoned nut snacks, beautiful blue bottles of Waiakea hawaiian artesian water, organic american pecans, good brands of coconut/ginger drinks, farm to market personal size bread, etc. Some of the produce like the raspberries could be fresher (granted a tough job given lower store traffic, and berries dont keep well) but i did find some crisp & yummy organic pink lady apples.

Found this little market on yelp! It's awesome here. There's a food section as well as a section for soaps, makeup, vitamins, and things alike! The price is average for healthy and organic food, which is perfect for my college kid budget. I'm excited to try everything I got today! I will definitely be going back!!

For the love of the organic gods and goddesses, Nature's Own is open and suffice to say, I'm a happy, happy girl. A whole lot of positives: -locally made KOMBUCHA!!! Yes, you've read it right. Most stores don't carry it anymore thanks to someone deciding there is too much alcohol in it to be sold in grocery stores. WHAEVs. -a private parking lot (I figured I'd have to park on the street, which is next to impossible in this area, at least anywhere that you can drag all your bags of groceries to). -sweet section in the front with protein drinks, vitamins, herbs, health and beauty products -ORGANIX pet foods (I don't have to make a trip to WF anymore! woohoo!!) -decent organic fruit/veggie section -Pop Chips (among a whole lot of other natural snacks, but I'm addicted to Pop Chips so that's all that matters to me) -lovely bulk section -friendly staff -locally owned -not far from my house What does all of this add up to? To hell with my supermarket phobia!
